[Other] It's important to note that while Sakubo as a PC in The World is played by Iori, who is in fact male in the real world, the PC body itself is female in appearance. The character's appearance will change based on which twin is in control at the moment. When Saku is in control, the skirt will flare out, as will the hairstyle, the backpack will be red, and the point on the harlequin hat will have the sun up. Also, the grimoire that is unique to Sakubo alone will have suns on the cover. When Bo is in control, the skirt will curve in and almost look like shorts, as will the hairstyle. The hat will be turned moon point up and the grimoire will have moons on the cover. His backpack is black in color.

Understanding Sakubo's personality requires the knowledge that the child behind the MMO player character, Iori Nakanishi, has a split personality disorder, which manifests within The World as Saku (the female "twin") and Bo (the male "twin"). Bo is the more accurate representation of Iori, who is a gentle and sometimes hesitant young boy. He is a sickly child and he frequently misses school, which puts a strain on his mother who considers him a burden. When he is too ill to attend school, she leaves him alone while she goes to work, creating a lonely and unhappy home environment for him. Added to that, there is the additional strain that he had an elder sister who died as a child before he was born, which contributes to the split in personality for Iori.
Bo is kind and eager to please, cheerfully helping out Haseo with his guild master's quest. He plays The World with the intention of having fun and idolizes Haseo as a big brother. Even so, he has a good sense of justice and fair play, verbally objecting to Haseo's use of an Avatar to win a fight in the arena, calling it out as wrong. He likes his school motto and prefers to make plans, saving up GP for a special item he wants in the game. He's also forgiving and generous, not minding when Saku squanders it when it's her turn, since it was only going towards a birthday gift for her anyway. He won't entirely turn a blind eye to Saku's bad behavior, however, as he begs Atoli for help when he finds out what trap Saku has laid for Haseo to get PKed. He does carry a small element of fear for her and her wrath though, apologizing to a trapped Endrance for not freeing him because Saku would get angry.
Saku, on the other hand, is everything that Bo is not. She acts as the "big sister" and protector for Bo, coming out whenever she feels like, but most precisely whenever Bo is stressed or in danger. That is about as far as her redeeming features go. She is obsessed with Endrance and hates Haseo passionately. She stalks Endrance so much that she puts out hits and torments girls for getting too familiar with Master En. She's also quite greedy, not just blowing all of Bo's hard earned money, but selling off pictures of Endrance for money. She is foul mouthed and brash, pulling no punches either verbally or with her character's skillset. She can, and will, call things like she sees them... and it's seldom flattering. Saku also possesses a hair trigger temper and is prone to jumping to conclusions without proof or even a true reason to think what she does. She is aggressive to Bo's pacifism, she is loud to his quiet, she is active to his passiveness, she is confident and he is shy.
For the most part, Bo seems to be unaware that Saku is an entirely different personality and genuinely believes that she is his twin sister that he shares a PC body with, although in emails exchanged in the game, Iori talks about his older sister Sakura that he never knew. Saku, on the other hand, is all too aware that she is not real and is nothing more than a protective fabrication of Iori's mind. She laments at one point that there's no need for her anymore since Haseo has taken over as an older sibling figure for Bo and that she can only exist in The World.

Aside from Sakubo's job class, s/he is also an Epitaph User, one of eight players capable of summoning an Avatar. Sakubo's Epitaph is Gorre, the Machinator.
[Affection] Saku will only allow affection from Endrance. Anything else is taking your life into your own hands. Bo, however, is a sweetheart and very affectionate.
[Fighting] Saku will pick fights and hand you your ass. Bo would just as soon avoid them. Fighting is a major element of leveling up in the MMO Sakubo is played in, so fighting things or people is a go.
